Storage: If you do not want to or cannot sow your seeds directly, there are a few things you need to bear in mind to ensure that your seeds remain germinable for a long time. You should store them as optimally as possible. The seeds should be stored in a dry, airtight and dark package in a cool place with a stable temperature. You can store our seed packets in screw-top jars, for example. For longer storage, you can add a sachet of silica gel, which removes moisture from the air. It is also important to check the seeds regularly.

As seeds are living organisms, they do not have an unlimited lifespan. However, we cannot give you a best-before date, as so many factors are decisive for seed germination. However, optimum storage ensures that you can enjoy your seeds for a long time - if you haven't sown them all at once ;)

Germination rates: In the product descriptions you will find the germination rates, which represent an average value between the laboratory result and outdoor germination. However, the stated germination rate is not a guarantee for the germination rate at your home, but merely serves as an indication of the desirable emergence rate of the seed.

Batch number: We are legally obliged to print the batch number and filling date on the seed packets. If you have any questions about our seeds, please always include the corresponding batch number (e.g. 1_kc1_2023).

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the germination of our seeds. Although we carry out ongoing quality controls, ensure optimum seed storage and test germination capacity, we have no influence whatsoever on the conditions during storage, germination and cultivation of the seeds at your home.
