Probably the most hardy variety ever. Not to be compared with the standard red Kadsura varieties.
With us the strongest growing Kadsura. Even stronger than the hybrid "Bing Bai".

Sowing is best done in the first half of the year.
- The seeds are swollen in warm water for 24 hours.
- Then they are wet with! not put wet sphagnum moss or sand or similar medium in a germination bag.
- Germination takes place at around 24 degrees Celsius (75.2 °F) within several weeks to a maximum of 3 months. The germination rate for all our varieties is around 80 percent.
- The pre-germinated seeds from the germination bags are then transplanted into slightly acidic, airy substrate. The survival rate of the seedlings in the first year is over 90 percent.
The germination is basically not particularly demanding. The biggest danger here is that the seeds get too wet and rot. This can easily be counteracted by the optimal choice of substrate.
The young plants must be protected from high levels of sunlight in the first summer.
The seedlings grow slowly at first and, depending on the variety, really get going after about 3 months. Large increases can be expected in the second year at the latest.
The germination rate, tested by us, is 80 percent. The seed is varietal and very fresh.3 seeds per sachet
Storage:If you don't want to or can't sow your seeds directly, you have to pay attention to a few things so that your seeds remain germinable for a long time. You should store it as optimally as possible. Seeds should be stored dry, airtight and dark packed in a cool place with stable temperature. You can store our seed bags in screw-top jars, for example. For longer storage, you can add a bag of silica gel, which removes moisture from the air. It is also important to check the seeds regularly.
Because seeds are living organisms, they do not have an indefinite lifespan. However, we can't give you an expiration date either, as so many factors are critical to seed germination. However, optimal storage ensures that you will enjoy your seed for a long time - if you did not sow it all at once ;)
Germination rates:In the product descriptions you will find the germination rates, which represent an average between the laboratory result and outdoor germination. However, the specified germination rate does not guarantee the germination rate in your home, but only serves as an indication of the desirable emergence rate of the seed.
lot number:The lot number with the filling date is printed on the seed packet, which we are legally obliged to do. If you have any questions about our seeds, please always include the corresponding batch number (e.g. 1_kc1_2023).
