Ribes aureum ‘Uppsala’ is an exceptional wild find from Sweden, likely a naturalised seedling from an allotment garden, and is currently available exclusively from us.
 
This special variety impresses with its high adaptability to cool climates and its natural hardiness.
 
In spring, intensely fragrant yellow flowers appear, attracting numerous pollinators. The dark, glossy and aromatic berries that follow are highly versatile – both fresh and when processed.
 
The shrub grows vigorously and upright, is extremely hardy and copes well even in more challenging locations.
